2017 Recap!

2017 was a year of travel and it was amazing! We went to most of the places we had on our list, and I will say that I feel pretty accomplished. Plus it’s the year we started growing our little family!

These pictures aren’t in any particular order, but I tried to include at least one picture from each of our travels.

The places in Florida we visited are Ocala National Forest, Beercan Island, Robinson’s Preserve, Ravine Gardens State Park, Rodman Campground (my favorite campground in Florida, so far), Boyscout Island, Jupiter, Blowing Rock Preserve, Ft. Myers, Disney (obviously), Devil’s Den, Ichnetuckee Springs State Park, Ginnie Springs, O’Leno State Park, Myakka River State Park, and, of course, we went to the beach a decent amount.

The places outside of Florida we visited together are Nauvoo, Illinois, and Oakland, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Forest, Sequoia & King’s Canyon National Park, California.

I was able to go on a girls trip to Utah and we went to Salt Lake City, Provo, Draper, Bryce Canyon National Park, Park City, and a slot canyon near Bryce Canyon!

That’s two national forests, four state parks in Florida, and three national parks.

Besides traveling a ton, we also found out we were pregnant in May. We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary. We grew so much closer and learned even more about each other.

Personally, I made a lifestyle change. I started working out a ton and started doing yoga again, regularly. I changed my diet and really got into good shape. Of course, I got pregnant right when I got into the swing of working out and eating healthy. But it made for a very smooth pregnancy and I will write a post about my pregnancy closer to my due date!

Overall, this year was so amazing and so jam-packed! Keep an eye out for my next post. I’m going to be writing about our travel plans for 2018, as well as my personal goals for the year.
